Last week saw the official launch of the AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards 2016 - the annual ceremony honouring organisations and individuals who use digital technology to improve the lives of others. Is there anyone you’d like to nominate?
If you work with a volunteer who regularly goes above and beyond their duties or you know a charity that’s found an innovative way to help people of all ages to acquire the digital skills they need, head over to the website and get nominating.
Tinder Foundation are sponsoring the Community Impact Award for charities, businesses or individuals using digital technology to transform their community, and there are plenty of other categories that might fit the bill for someone you know. You can even nominate yourself!
The deadline for your nominations is Friday 6 May at 5pm, and you can join in the conversation with @Tech4GoodAwards on Twitter using the hashtag #Tech4GoodAwards to tell the world who you’ll be nominating.
